Outpatient Programs at Banyan Chicago
Banyan Treatment Centers Outpatient Program (OP) is provided in a comfortable atmosphere with professional counseling, guided by a small patient to staff ratio. OP is a step down from IOP, with a minimum of 90 minutes of treatment per week. At Banyan Chicago, this service is provided in group setting or on an individual basis depending on the patient’s needs. We perform individualized assessments for all clients to design a unique treatment plan that successfully addresses the addiction needs. We are a holistic treatment provider with psychiatric and medical care available for all individuals.
The Benefits of Outpatient Care
Outpatient drug and alcohol addiction treatment is a more flexible option for those in need of treatment care and this plan makes it easier to adjust to independent and healthy living. We understand the responsibilities of everyday life and this type of treatment plan allows individuals to continue their recovery journey while still maintaining day to day tasks such as taking care of children, working, and schooling. We make your treatment fit around those responsibilities to avoid stress and headaches. Outpatient care programs are designed to guide people to a normal lifestyle while still providing treatment during the week. This program bridges the gap between 24/7 care and independency while still lowering the chances of relapse.
What Does our Outpatient Program Include?
Our outpatient program is provided 5 days per week at flexible times to accommodate work and family schedules. This level of care has a heavy focus on preventing relapse with an emphasis placed on growth and long-term recovery. During our outpatient care, we offer a range of counseling and therapies specifically designed to treat your addiction. Some of the topics covered during treatment include:
- Relapse prevention scenarios
- Family therapy
- Group therapy
- Individual counseling
- Behavioral therapy
- Communication enhancement skills
Once you have successfully completed OP, you are welcomed into our alumni program, which helps you maintain connections to peers and the recovery community. We understand that after this treatment, recovery doesn’t stop here. The support this program offers is irreplaceable and empowering for all recovering addicts looking for close connections. Our treatment program highlights effective ways to improve communications with peers and family members. The goal is to build and shape an independent lifestyle while maintaining sobriety in an everyday setting. Support goes a long way in preventing relapse and that is why we place emphasis on our family therapy sessions. Addiction not only affects the individual, but it places a huge impact on the loved ones surrounded by the individual struggling. Our outpatient program works well with individuals who have a large support system willing to provide accountability when our clients are not taking part in treatments at our rehab facility.

"Banyan was able to help me more than words can describe. They helped me save my life. I called in not really knowing what to expect or anything about treatment and the people I spoke with were able to walk me through every step of the way."
